Day 73 of 80

Love Consumes Everything

Chapter VIII·Manuscript C·Mercy
Context
A single sentence that could save a soul from despair. We fall, we are unfaithful — but Love profits from everything, even our failures. It consumes what is ugly and leaves behind only peace. There is nothing Love cannot transform.

Full sweet is the way of Love. It is true one may fall and be unfaithful to grace; but Love, knowing how to profit by everything, quickly consumes whatever is displeasing to Jesus, leaving in the heart only a deep and humble peace.
