PRESS & MEDIA KIT

A one-page kit for Catholic writers and bloggers covering Little Way.

Everything you need to write about, embed, or link to Little Way, a free Catholic prayer app rooted in St. Thérèse of Lisieux. Logos, screenshots, printables, founder bio, and an open license. If you want a higher-resolution asset or a quick quote, I'll reply the same day.

What Little Way is

Little Way is a quiet, beautifully made Catholic prayer app rooted in the spirituality of St. Thérèse of Lisieux. It is free to download on iPhone and Android, and every prayer feature a Catholic actually needs (morning offering, daily examen, rosary, Stations of the Cross, Holy Face devotion, Garden of shared prayer, the 80-day Story of a Soul reading plan) is free with no ads and no required subscription.

What makes Little Way different from every other Catholic app on the market is the daily virtue rhythm. Each night, the examen helps you name one small concrete act of virtue for the next day, and the next morning that act becomes the first thing you see at the top of your morning offering. This closes a daily loop for practicing virtue that St. Thérèse taught but that no digital tool has operationalized until now. The rest of the app is built around that same rhythm.

Suggested story angles

A handful of story hooks that fit Little Way well, for writers looking for a clean frame.

The daily virtue rhythm

Little Way is the first Catholic app that closes the examen and morning offering into a daily loop for practicing a specific virtue. Good for "best Catholic apps" roundups, formation-focused blogs, and anyone writing about how to actually live the Little Way instead of just admiring it.

The free 80-day Story of a Soul reading plan

Until this year there was no structured reading plan for Story of a Soul on the open web. Little Way's plan is free, on the web and in the app, with one day per page. Good for Catholic book bloggers, Theresian spirituality posts, and roundups of free Catholic resources.

A tool for OCIA and RCIA programs

The Garden feature (private, shared prayer spaces) is being used by parish OCIA coordinators as a digital backbone for their catechumenate cohort. Always free for parish use. Good for parish blogs, diocesan newsletters, and catechist publications.

A quiet alternative to engagement-maximized prayer apps

Little Way is deliberately small, deliberately Catholic, and has no algorithm, no feed, no likes, no streaks as growth hacks. Built like a Catholic prayer book, not a SaaS product. Good for opinion writers and anyone covering Catholic digital culture.

An independent Catholic app without venture capital

Little Way is built by one Catholic dad, funded by its own small subscriptions, and has no venture capital pushing it toward growth-at-all-costs. Good for independent-developer stories, Catholic entrepreneurship pieces, and "apps that are not Hallow" coverage.

About Carter

Carter Boatright is the founder and sole builder of Little Way. He is a Catholic husband and dad who converted through an OCIA program about five years ago and built Little Way as the daily prayer tool he wishes his own cohort had had. He runs the project independently under Refine Journal LLC.

Carter is available for short written interviews, podcast guest appearances, and quotes. Email carter@littleway.app and he'll reply personally.

Little Way is the tool I wish my own OCIA cohort had had, the daily prayer book I wish I had been given the week I came into the Church. I built it because nobody else was going to. Carter Boatright, founder
