O Lord, grant us, we beseech You, to glory in the feast-day of blessed Thomas, Your Apostle, that we may be helped continually by his patronage and imitate his faith with a devotion like his.
Through Jesus Christ, thy Son our Lord, Who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end.

Fratres: Jam non estis hóspites et ádvenæ: sed estis cives sanctórum et doméstici Dei: superædificáti super fundaméntum Apostolórum et Prophetárum, ipso summo angulári lápide Christo Jesu: in quo omnis ædificátio constrúcta crescit in templum sanctum in Dómino, in quo et vos coædificámini in habitáculum Dei in Spíritu.
Brethren: You are now no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are citizens with the saints and members of God’s household: you are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Christ Jesus Himself as the chief cornerstone. In Him the whole structure is closely fitted together and grows into a temple holy in the Lord, in Him you too are being built together into a dwelling place for God in the Spirit.

In illo témpore: Thomas, unus ex duódecim, qui dícitur Dídymus, non erat cum eis, quando venit Jesus. Dixérunt ergo ei alii discípuli: Vídimus Dóminum. Ille autem dixit eis: Nisi videro in mánibus ejus fixúram clavórum, et mittam dígitum meum in locum clavórum, et mittam manum meam in latus ejus, non credam.
Et post dies octo, íterum erant discípuli ejus intus, et Thomas cum eis. Venit Jesus jánuis clausis, et stetit in médio, et dixit: Pax vobis. Deinde dicit Thomæ: Inter dígitum tuum huc, et vide manus meas, et affer manum tuam, et mitte in latus meum: et noli esse incrédulus, sed fidélis.
Respóndit Thomas et dixit ei: Dóminus meus et Deus meus. Dixit ei Jesus: Quia vidisti me, Thoma, credidísti: beáti, qui non vidérunt, et credidérunt.
At that time, Thomas, one of the Twelve, called the Twin, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said to him, We have seen the Lord. But he said to them, Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.
And after eight days, His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being closed, and stood in their midst, and said, Peace be to you! Then He said to Thomas, Bring here your finger, and see My hands; and bring here your hand, and put it into My side; and be not unbelieving, but believing.
Thomas answered and said to Him, ‘My Lord and my God! Jesus said to him, Because you have seen Me, Thomas, you have believed. Blessed are they who have not seen, and yet have believed.
